Future of International Convenience & Petroleum Retail event to take in three convenience capitals
Insight Research has launched its 2010 Future of International Convenience Retailing event and is inviting delegates to join the programme, which is being hosted in three European capitals: Dublin, London and Paris, 20-24 September 2010.
The annual international convenience store and petroleum retail industry event is held in association with NACS, the International Association for Convenience and Petroleum Retailing.
The convenience and forecourt conference days take place at the British Library, London, 22-23 September.
In an exciting new development, retailers and suppliers will also have the option of joining convenience and petroleum store visits in the UK, Ireland and France on 20th, 21st and 24th September. Store visits are sponsored by Western Union.
Stores will include the latest Budgens, Spar, Tesco environmental store, Tesco Express, Topaz, Centra, Applegreen, Total and Daily Monop sites.
This event, now in its 12th year, was attended by retailers and supplier delegates from 20 countries in 2009.
The 'Future of Convenience' event brings the European industry together and offers convenience retailers and suppliers from around the world a unique look into best practices in the advanced European market.
This exclusive, interactive programme, combines presentations, case studies, panel discussions and visits to retail and petroleum formats, as well as numerous networking opportunities.
Key features are the International Convenience Retailer of the Year Award dinner and a Champagne and canapes reception on the London Eye. Imperial Tobacco and airplay media are sponsors.
Confirmed speakers include: Nigel Mills, CEO, Mills Group; Don Longo, editor-in-chief, Convenience Store News, Nielsen Business Media USA; Tom Fender, director, him!; and Joe Bona, president, CBX.
The event also provides an introduction to leading European convenience and petroleum retail executives through Insight's new peer review process. Sewell Group, judged by the Sunday Times to be one of the top employers in the UK, is one of the retailers participating.
