Global Summit aims to re-shape the world

Re-shaping the world - winning in a consumer-led future is the theme of The Consumer Goods Forum’s Global Summit 2010, 23-25 June in London.

Organised exclusively for members of The Consumer Goods Forum, the two-day conference features leading retail and manufacturer executives including Sir Terry Leahy, chief executive of Tesco; Paul Polman, chief executive of Unilever; Lars Olofsson, chief executive officer at Carrefour; Paul Bulcke, chief executive officer, Nestlé; Andy Bond, president and chief executive of Asda; Dick Boer, executive vice president and chief operating officer, Europe & chief executive officer at Ahold and Mark Price, managing director of Waitrose

The conference sessions will be moderated by Alex Thomson, presenter and chief correspondent, Channel 4 News.

The event is divided into four sessions:

  • Winning in a consumer-led future
  • The trends that are re-shaping consumer behaviour and business growth
  • Social issues and managing conflicting and controversial choices
  • Emerging consumers: how are we adapting?

The event is sponsored by Coca-Cola Enterprises, Pepsico, Suntory, AT Kearney and L’Oreal and closes with a black tie gala dinner at the Grosvenor House Hotel.
